Many controversial bands of all metal genres come from Indonesia with their own unique and distinct styles. Each of its respective sub-genres are very numerous and widely spread in Indonesia. In Indonesia, you can find all kinds of music genres, from death metal, grindcore, hardcore, noise, thrash metal, black metal, and even blackgaze. Is there a big black metal/blackgaze scene Indonesia? But I would say Soulless is based in Earth, no boundaries. I live and grow up in the capital of West Sumatera province, Padang City, Indonesia. The name is Rivanka my friends would call me Rivan, or just Van. Hi, thanks for having me in this interview. May I ask your name? I know many artists in the genre tend to drift towards anonymity. Our resident black metal aficionado, Andrew Voigt, spoke with Rivanka about his music and what lies beneath the surface of Soulless.
